Jack wakes up at home with a huge hangover he can’t believe. He forces himself to open his eyes, and the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table, and next to them, a single red rose! Jack sits down and sees his clothing in front of him, all clean and pressed.

Jack looks around the room and sees that it is in perfect order, spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house. He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror, and notices a note on the table: “Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to go shopping–Love you!” He stumbles to the kitchen and sure enough, there is hot breakfast and the morning newspaper. His son is also at the table, eating.

Jack asks, “Son…what happened last night?”

“Well, you came home after 3 A.M., drunk and out of your mind. You broke some furniture, puked in the hallway, and got that black eye when you ran into the door.”

“So, why is everything in such perfect order, so clean, I have a rose, and breakfast is on the table waiting for me?”

I ended up having to upgrade to 2.0 since my  wp-admin area wasn’t working.  Not sure why but it kept bringing up a blank screen.  stupid stupid stupid.

Recently some nasty neighbors have been petitioning the board of our apartment building, demanding that we either get rid of our dog, Oreo, or vacate the premises. They claim that she barks at all hours of the night and makes noise running back and forth across the apartment. That she’s generally a bad dog and that we are rude owners. If you read this blog with any frequency you know that nothing could be further from the truth. Unfortunately it’s our word against theirs, and apparently they’ve been lodging complaints for some time without telling us. We are fighting back, but things don’t look good and if we lose we’re in big trouble. Although we can afford another apartment with a similar rent, we don’t have enough cash saved for a big security deposit (always required for apartments that allow dogs) or to pay for movers. Just wanted to send my warm wishes to Erika and Jay! Baby Samson is on his way. ; ) Good Luck Guys, hope he gets here soon!

february - D and I celibrated 7 years of being together.

march - I celibrated my 24th birthday

april - D quit his job at Snap-On before his position was eliminated and he was left with no job at all.

may - D and I celibrated our 1 year Wedding anniversary and D started working again.

june -

july - D quit his job after his big whopping $12.00 paycheck.

august - I got on a plane, for the first time since I was 11 or 12, and went to San Diego, California. The day after I went to California, D started his new job at NAPA. One week after returning from California, D was in an accident at work envolving a forklift and his feet/legs.

september - D celibrated his 27th birthday not being able to walk and being miserable.

october - D went back to work on Oct 24th after being out for two months. The doctors said that it would be the first of the year before he would walk again and he out did that by two months.

november - I went to Georgia twice with my friend Rhonda. The first time was to go to Ashley’s Graduation Party and the second time was for Rhonda to give a speach for Save a Life of Georgia.

december - We celibrated our friendship with friends at our annual Christmas Party. We also celibrated the new year at Rhonda and Travis’ house.

Well, that’s our year in review! January and June I can’t remember but that’s ok. Here’s to a better year in 2006.

I decided that I needed a place to vent so I brought back Expressions. This is a temporary layout and I plan on creating something using this skeleton.

Congrats to Ari and Peter! : ) I hope the wedding was wonderful! It looks like you guys had fun and you were very beautiful! : )
